As a continuation of the existing efforts in the digitaltransformation’s field, Muscat Governorate, represented by the DocumentsDepartment and the Information Technology Department, organized a trainingworkshop on implementation of the electronic documents and documents managementsystem (Wosool). It aims to introduce new Muscat Governorate employees to theseries of procedures, tasks and functions required in the document management’sfield.
The training workshop included an introduction to the(Wosool) system, its specializations and advantages. With a practicalapplication on how to use it, which enhances the workshop participants’understanding of the system’s working and enables them to benefit from it. Thistraining workshop comes as part of Muscat Governorate’s ongoing efforts indigital transformation by activation of electronic document management.According to the modern regulations, standards and best practices in thisfield.
It is worthnoting that Muscat Governorate is one of the first government institutions toimplement an access system in electronic documents and files’ management. Thissystem represents one of the central projects of the comprehensive digitaltransformation plan. It aims to offer a secure environment for storage andmanagement electronic information documents and resources for government organizations.
