The Social Development Committee in Quriyatheld its second meeting in 2024. This is to discuss several topics on itsagenda. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Talal bin Saif binMuhammad Al Hosani, Quriyat wali, the Committee’s Chairman, and in the presenceof Committee’s members.
The committeereviewed the issue of helping some needy families in the wilayat. This is doneby offering them with electrical and electronic devices. As well as,maintaining and renovating some homes, and pay off some debts. The committeeapproved several recommendations for action to be taken in coordination withthe experienced authorities.
It isnoteworthy that the Social Development Committee in the walis’ offices isresponsible for looking into a number of issues. For example, ways’ enhancementto improve the standard of living of the individual, family and society incooperation with the specialized authorities. Additionally, supporting needyfamilies in homes’ construction or renovation for social security families andlow-income people. Supporting and controlling volunteer work in its variousinstitutions. As well as, studying the various topics thatare referred to the committee by the wilayat’s wali.
