Today (Tuesday), HisExcellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat Governor, sponsored theopening ceremony of the third annual forum for the world of hospitality, foodand beverage service sectors “HORECA Oman” at the Oman Convention andExhibition Centre.
The forum aims to enhance communication andpartnerships between various entities in the hospitality and food sector in theSultanate, and highlight the modern innovations and trends in the industry.They are by attracting an elite group of prominent companies and brands in thehospitality, food and related retail outlets sectors.
More than 120 companies from14 countries participate in the forum. They include the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, theEmirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Russia, Iran, India, Afghanistan and Lebanon.
The forum will witness the establishment of severalinternational competitions and events, which are specialized in the fields ofcooking, coffee, juices, and making beds and tables, with the participation ofmore than 200 competitors. Additionally, it includes dialogue sessions on cookingarts and the modern developments in the hospitality’s world, with theparticipation of Omani and international experts.
