Today, Wednesday, his Excellency Al Sayyid Saud bin Hilal AlBusaidi, Muscat governor, did an inspection visit to various affected sites inQuriyat wilayat. In the presence of His Excellency Quriyat wali, the Engineer,Director General of Muscat Municipality in Quriyat, and a number of officialsand residents. It included visiting some regions in the wilayat, including:Siyaa, Al Ramla, Afaa and a visit to Wadi Dayqah Dam in Al-Mazari village. Itaims to inspect the damage Quriyat suffered as a result of the rainfall, theflow of valleys and reefs during the weather that the Sultanate of Omanrecently witnessed.
His Excellency, Muscat governor stressed theimportance of efforts` joining and roles` integration to address all theobservations resulting from this rain, such as water accumulation and the roadnetwork`s impact.
